Land Rover 80" Series 1 1950 LHD Full Grille Model - Restoration Project
Land Rover 80" "Light behind grille" 1950 model. Build January 1950. LHD; fitted with later 2286cc S2 Petrol Engine; correct freewheel gearbox. Nice restoration project or patina rebuild. Barn stored for over 25 years! Left Hand Drive Vehicle. Engine runs very nice, drives, no brakes. Lot of original features; dash all complete; horn/dip button. Chassis very good condition; but has a common Swiss agrigultural conversion so rearcross member is cut of and backbody shortened. This was done to classify as agricultaral vehicle. So interesting conerversion as is. Or needs rear crossmember to convert back to original. Bulkhead needs minor welding but very solid. Rest of body useable condition.
Not many LHD "full grille" models available on the European market.
